Welcome to the Colombian Influence Book Club! We are diving into chapter 5 of the Primal Wound: Understanding the Adopted Child, written by Nancy Verrier.

Chapter 5 discusses the traumas experienced by adoptees, and how this trauma of being abandoned by their first (biological) mother can negatively affect their trust in their second (adoptive) mother.
